JAPAN AND GERMANY
FRIENDLY RELATIONS TRADE MINISTER IN BERLIN. BERLIN, Nov. 17. The Japanese Minister of Trade, Vice-Admiral Godo, has arrived in Berlin. Interviewed, he explained that the purpose of his visit was to confirm the friendly relations between Germany and Japan “in a practical fashion.” He added that Germany in the West and Japan in the East would stand together as two strong factors in the preservation of world peace and the furtherance of civilisation.
