WORLD'S TINIEST RACEHORSE

AT THE SHOW One of the most amazing attractions that has ever been seen on a show ground in New Zealand is “Jimmy,’’ the world's smallest racehorse. The little pet, which is the size of a dog, is a perfect model of his big brothers racing on the turf in Buenos Aires. Perhaps nature meant this infinitesimal animal for some Liliputian world, there to provide amusement for Lilliput babies. If you were to see it you would wonder how two perfectly ordinary though thoroughbred parents could breed so minute a horse. It is nothing less than marvellous. His mother and father are ordinary size racehorses, 15i and 16 hands, respectively, and yet they breed such a perfect pocket edition of the beautiful racehorse. It belongs to Mr. Dave T. Meekin, who has insured it for £2OOO. It is a thoroughbred and stands 22J inches high, weighing 371 b, and its proportions are perfect. It is a beautiful jumper and runner, and wears shoes about the size of a florin. Mr. Meekin had an offer of £2OOO for his pet, but would not part with it for any consideration. “Jimmy” is an unbelievably beautiful little animal and draws forth unstinted praise from grown-ups and children alike. He is a great favourite with the kiddies. Needless to say, huge crowds will avail themselves of the opportunity of seeing what esn easily be termed the most perfect bit of horseflesh in miniature the world has ever known. There is only one genuine “Wee Jimmie” in New' Zealand. The public are advised to beware of impositions. Be sure and see “Jimmy” at the show.
