TYBALT WINS THE CLP TOSH BEATS CROONING FIRST DAVS RESULTS [ Per Press Association. ] WHANGAREI, Nov. 5. The Whangarei Racing Club's spring carnival opened in brilliant weather before a large attendance. The track was very fast after a long spell of dry weather. The totalisator handled £10,678 10s, compared with £9883 on the rst day of the last spring meeting. An inquiry was held into the running of the "Whangarei Cup, as a result whereof G. Glading, rider of Sergia, which finished second, was lined £5 for not riding his mount out. The aged chestnut gelding Gold Pocket, owned by Mr N. B.
