BOUT AT AUCKLAND BLOxMTDELD BEATS NOLAND [ I’cr Press Association. J AUCKLAND, Oct. 25. The semi-final of the New Zealand professional wrestling championship took place to-night when “Lofty” Blomlield, of Auckland, defeated Don Noland, of America, by two falls to one. Noland obtained the first fall in the third round by means of the application of extra pressure on a short-arm scissors from a semi-reverse position. The second fall was won by Blomfield, who followed up a series of foils with an octopus clamp to which his opponent submitted. Noland limped to his corner after receiving massage treatment from his second. However, shortly after the gong went for the seventh round Noland was fore-arm jolted a few times and then he fell an easy prey to a body press.
