SEAFIEID CLUB HOLIDAY TOURNEY THE QUALIFYING ROUNDS The Seafield Golf Club’s annual tournament commenced on Saturday in beautiful weather. The links were in excellent order. Two qualifying rounds were played, the first sixteen qualifying for her Seafield championship and the following flights for the Springvale Handicap and Maroro Handicap respectively.

A medal handicap was played in connection with each of the qualifying rounds. The best scores were as follow: Morning Round

The Mackay Challenge Cup for the best score among visiting players was won by C. Palmer with 93—22—71. The tournament will be continued to-day. A bogey match will be played in the morning in conjunction with the match pfay and a Stableford bogey in the afternoon. Post entries will be received for these competitions.
