“Probation After Death” was the subject of the lesson-sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, October 24. The golden text was Matt. 24:13, “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be sav°d.” Among the citations which comprised the lesson-sermon were the following from the Bible, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesur Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from 'he dead, to an inheritance incoruptible, and undefield, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you.” (I Peter 1:3, 4.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy, “Work out your own salvation” is the demand of life and love, for to this end God worketh with you. “Occupy till I come!” Wait for your reward, and “be not weary in well doing.” Earth's preparatory school must be improved to the utmost.” (pp. 22, 486.)
