LEASE OF PYRAMIDS
SAMUEL GOLDWVN’S QUEST Received Oct. 22, 9.42 p.m. HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 22. Samuel Goldwyn telegraphed the Egyptian Minister at Washington inquiring the rates and conditions under which the pyramids could be leased for advertising purposes. He explained that he desired to place on them electric signs announcing the completion of the cinema adventures of Marco Polo. “This is not a publicity stunt. We are interested in using the pyramids in a dignified manner,” he added.
