AMERICAN TOUR
DUKE AND DUCHESS OF WINDSOR Received Oct. 22, 11.5 p.m. WASHINGTON, Oct. 21. Mr. Ickes, Secretary of the Department of the Interior, told newspapermen that the Government was shunning any official connection with the Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s tour. He said the Government had informed the Duke’s agents that they must work out their own itinerary and publicity. He understood that the Duke was coming incognito and they did not want to embarrass him.
