ANNUAL MEETING HELD GOLF MATCH AND DINNER The Wanganui Law Society held its annual meeting on Thursday and observed a holiday to play the annual golf match and observe the annual reunion of members. In the evening, at a dinner at Foster’s Hotel, the guests of honour were the Hon. Mr. Justice Smith, the Attorney-General (Hon. H. G. R. Mason) and Mr. J. H. Salmon, Stipendiary Magistrate at Wanganui. At the annual meeting of the society Mr. A. D. Brodie was re-elected pre-, sident, Mr. T. C. Kincaid (Taihape) vice-president, and Mr G. W. Currie, treasurer. The committee elected comprised Messrs. R. S. Withers. A. B. Wilson, A. A. Barton, H. G. Horsley, C. F. Treadwell (all of Wanganui) and Mr. F. J. Christensen (Marton). The bogey golf match, played at Belmont, was won by Mr. Colin Armstrong (all square).
