WANGANUI CLUB ARRANGEMENTS FOR WEEKEND More than 70 visiting harriers are to journey to Wanganui this weekend to participate in the Marton-to-Wanganui relay race which is to take place on Labour Day. Arrangements have been made for tne entertainment ot the visitors during their stay. A dance is to be held in |he Union Boat Club Hall to-night. At Aramoho Park, where the runners are billeted, a gathering is to be held to-morrow. At the conclusion of the race on Monday afternoon tea is to be provided at Dustin’s Tea Rooms. The race is to commence at noon at the Marton Post Office, and will conclude approximately an hour and a-quarter later on Cook’s Gardens. Members of the Wanganui Club teams are advised that the cars are to leave the Post Office at 10 a.m. on Monday.
