NEW ZEALAND TARIFFS INCREASE EXPECTED REPORTS IN SYDNEY (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyr ichtf SYDNEY, Oct. 20. The Daily Telegraph says that ports that the New Zealand Goven ment intends to raise the tariff! against Australian manufacture, goods are insistent. The reports were added to by the president of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation, Mr. Henry, who on arrival from New Zealand yesterday said that the New Zealand Government would probably take action after the Australian Federal elections. Mr. Henry added: “The Government's plans would be in the interests of New Zealand and British manufacturers as Britain is our best export customer for primary products. At present New Zealand imports from Australia four times more than she exports to this country.
