HAILE SELASSIE’S CLAIM
CABLE AND WIRELESS CO. LONDON, Oct. 18. Haile Selassie is suing Cable and Wireless Limited for approximately £lO,OOO owing before the departure of the Emperor in connection with the maintenance of the London-Ethiopian radio-telegraph service. The company admitted that the money was due, but pleaded that the King of Italy had become Emperor and the cause of .Selassie’s action was vested in the Italian Government.
