MOTOR COLLISION CASE j At the Wanganui Magistrate’s Court yesterday the magistrate, Mr. |J. H. Salmon, gave judgment for plaintiff for £lO2 11s 8d in the case of I. D. Macleay, farmer, of Turakina, !v. A. D. Clark, arising out of a motor I collision in Victoria Avenue. I In the case a question arose as to ! whether the husband, who was driving the car at the time of the acciIdent, was the agent of the wife, who owned the car. The magistrate said that was disposed of as the position showed that at the time of the accident, the husband, although he had [general permission to use the car, was not the agent of the wife. The [matter of costs was held over to alllow Mr. J. Hussey to be heard. Mr. |C. F. Treadwell appeared for plaintiff and Mr. J. Hussey for the defence.
