NO REASON’S GIVEN [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Oct. 18. Friday’s cable message re tne Nazi secret police hav.’ng foroidden the sale of the War Cry in Germany was referred to the tentorial department of the Salvation Army to-day, and it was stated t/at no reasons had been received locally for the ban, nor had any indication been given previously of any hostility towards the paper by the Nazi regime in Germany. On the contrary, an intimation appeared some time ago that Herr Hitler had given permission for the paper to be sold.
