WOMAN FATALLY INJURED f Per Press Association. ] PALMERSTON N., Oct. 18. Fatal injuries were received by Mrs E. G. Knight, aged 70, of Ohingaitl. when a light motor-truck in whies she was a passenger, left the road near Turangaarere at 7.45 p.m. yesterday. Her husband, Edward George Knight, aged 71, was driving. There were no other passengers. The couplu had been visiting their son, Mr E. L. Knight, Turangaarere, and were returning home when the vehicle left the road at the juiwiion, somersaulting down a 40-fooc bank and being extensively damaged. Deceased sustained severe head and facial injuries, and her husband a deep scalp wound and shock. He w r as taken to hospital. His condition to-day is satisfactory. The accident was seen by a motorcyclist, a Public Works Department employee, on his way to the camp at Waiouru.
