COLOMBO WEDDING

OF WANGANUI INTEREST ROSS—MACAULAY The marriage took place on the morning of August 19, at Christ Church, Garle Face, Colombo, Ceylon, of Aileen youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Macaulay, of Wanganui, New Zealand, and Mr. John Ross, of Calcutta, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ross, of Dundee, Scotland. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr. E. 11. Macgregor and was attended by Mrs. A. C. Flower, of Trichinopoly, South India, as matron of honour. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. R. W. H. Livingston, as best man. After the ceremony the company adjourned to 79 Green Path, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Browne, where a reception was held. The bride’s wedding gown was of heavy magnolia satin cut on classical lines, with a medici collar and scalloped neck line, and was completed by a graceful train. The veil was of parchment tulle With a headdress of gardinias. She carried a bouquet of carnations.
