BULLS

ANNUAL SCHOOL BALL. The Bulls school annual fancy dress ball was held on Frday evening and was a pronounced success. The Town Hall was filled with gaily dressed little dancers and the manner in which they went through the intricate steps of the various dances showed that they had been well , “coached” for the occasion. In addition a number of children from other schools in the district swelled the number and all had a jolly time. The M’s.C. were Messrs. D. M. O’Connell J. E. Ellery and W. Sutherland, and an army of ladies attended to the sumptuous supper. The takings at the door showed an increase on last year, and at the interval Mr. F. C. Jurgens took the opportunity of congratulating parents on the manner in which they had dressed their children for the ball. He also paid tributes to the teaching staff for training the pupils, and to the ladies for the excellent supper arrangements. A competition was won by Mr. J. Timmins. Amongst those present were:—L.
