PERSONAL The many friends of Mr Lou Weston will regret to learn that he is an inmate of the Hunterville private hospital. Miss E. Mercer has accepted a position in Stratford and left on Sunday to take up her duties. She carries with her the good wishes of her many friends. Miss E. Hammond leaves to-day (Tuesday) for Wanganui, where she will spend a short holiday with her friends. CRICKET PRACTICE An enjoyable cricket practice was held on Sunday, many members and friends taking part. From the members, who turn up for practice during the week and the week-end, a team will be chosen Io play against Mangamako on Labour Day.
