MURDER AND SUICIDE
DIVORCED WOMAN’S ACTION. Received Oct. 17, 7.5 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 16. Fred Reynolds, aged 35, waiter, divorced his wife Nell, aged 47, and six days later married Neoma Nelson, aged 33, who shortly before had also secured a divorce. Nell, learning of the re-marriage, arranged to meet Neoma at an hotel, where she shot her dead. Nell then committed suicide. Fred’s comment was: “She was probably jealous.”
