WARRNAMBOOL TO MELBOURNE Received Oct. 17, 7.5 p.m. MELBOURNE. Oct. 17. An 18-year-old Tasmanian, Trevor Brooks, off 24min., won the Warrnambool to Melbourne cycle race of 165 miles, defeating Harry Munro (30min.>, by only two lengths. J. Blake <JBmin.) was third. Fastest time went to A. Angus <7hr. 19min. 9sec.), with C. Beasley (7hr. 28min. 55sec.) second and L. Thomas, of New Zealand, (7hr. 36min. 13sec.) third.
