Lewis was floored three times, once for a count of nine. FOUL TACTICS FRENCHMAN OFFENDS GALLAGHER WINS ON T.K.O. Received Oct. 17, 7.5 p.m. NEW YORK, Oct. 15. Marty .Gallagher was awarded i technical knock-out in the eighth round of a ten-round bout with Andre Lenglet, the French heavyweight, the referee stopping the bout on account of Lenglet's excessive foul tactics. FORMER WELTER CHAMPION "MYSTERIOUS” BILLY SMITH DEAD Received Oct. 17, 7.5 p.m. PORTLAND (Oregon), Oct. 16. The death has occurred of “Mysterious” Billy Smith, a former welter champion.
