LAND-SPEED RECORDS
CAPTAIN EYSTON AT • BONNEVILLE
Received Oct. 15, 9.5 p.m. BONNEVILLE, Oct. 14. Rain compelled Captain Eyston to abandon his attempt on the 24-houi record after he had covered 2440 miles at an average speed of 158.2 miles per hour. While doing this run he established a new record for the 2000 kilometres, averaging 163.5 b miles an hour.
