STABBED IN BACK
MEMBER OF CONCERT PARTY PRISONER’S COWARDLY DEED LONDON, Oct. 14. As the prisoners were trooping out after a concert at the Perth prison, one rushed forward and attacked Miss Helen Heggie, a member of the concert party, and stabbed her in the back with an improvised knife made from a barrel hoop. The blade of live inches penetrate*! to the hilt. The other prisoners grappled with the assailant, and he was badly mauled before the warders intervened.
