The V neckline finished with a small stand-up collar with turned-back points and caught with a spray of orange blossom. A low of tiny satin buttons, reaching from the V neckline to the hem corresponded with the buttons from the elbow to the wrists on the sleeves. She wore a string of pearls. Her lovely parchment silk embroidered tulle veil, worn over the face as she entered the church, was held in place by a close-fitting silver threaded diamante cap adorned with sprigs of orange blossom. She carried an exquisite armsheaf of deep cream freesias, lily-of-the-valley, and deep gold azalia mollis. Her three attendants, Misses Beth ; Whitlock (chief), Patsie Bell, and I Joan Nicholson were gowned alike in spring green sprigged sheer chiffon crepe frocks cut on princess lines with inset godets in the centre front of the skirts.
