AMERICAN CRUISER
EVIDENCE OF SABOTAGE. NAVAL BOARD INQUIRY. WASHINGTON, Oct. 13. The Naval Board inquiry has announced evidences of the sabotage of machinery of the new heavy cruiser Vincennes while undergoing her trials. A metal bar and a fire were apparently placed in the two-turbine reduction gearboxes. This is the fourth serious sabotage incident on naval vessels in the past seven years.
