TWO TRIES TO NIL. LONDON, Oct. 13. The touring Australian Rugby League team, the Kangaroos, defeated Rochdale Horn t, 6—o. There was no score at half-time. The Australians’ early play was ragged and they also missed a number of opportunities to score in the second half owing to losing the ball or because of forward passing. Fine bursts, however, enabled Beaton and Pierce to score tries.
