“I WOULD RATHER BE AT SCHOOL,” SAYS “BRAINY GUY.”
Dear Wendy,—l suppose you know whom this is from? It is your true lie, “Brainy Guy.” Well. “Mother of Six,” where are you hiding? And “Hinemoa,” I think the old Witch must have you in her den, too. I have not much time to write to you, Wendy, as I have homework to do. We are not at school but we get our homework by mail. I would rather be at school than at home. Well, Wendy, it is time for bed so cheerio. Love to you and all Ites.—From “BRAINY GUY,” Hunterville. Yes, dear, I know you have lots of homework to do, but I am so pleased Ito have you in our midst this merry I day of Make-believe. School is best | indeed. One has a much better time playing with one’s schoolfellows. However. I expect school will reopen again scon.—Wendy.
