SPRINGBOKS TO PLAY VICTORIA
Received June 10, 11.40 p.m. MELBOURNE, June 10. Rugbyites in Victoria are eagerly awaiting the Springbok match on Saturday. The visitors have been training hard since their arrival and in Melbourne’s coldest weather for two years. Saturday’s Springbok team was chosen to-night as follows: Full-back: G. Brand. Three-quarters: P. Lyster, J. Bester, S. Hofmeyr, J. Broodryk. Five-eighth: D. van der Vyver. Scrum Half: D. Craven. Forwards: M. Louw, J. Lotz, M. van der Berg, P. J. Nel, L. Strachan, W. Bastard, B. du Toit. —(One missing from list cabled—- “ Cross-bar.”)
