WAVERLEY RACING CLUB A meeting of the Waverley Racing Club was held on Monday evening when Mr. J. E. Palmer presided over a good attendance of members. Those present were Messrs. C. H. Southcombe, G. Lupton, W. Mathews, J. J. Johnston, D. I. Jackson, G. H. Graham, D. Lupton, S. G. Davidson, J. Gray, T. Lupton, G. Aiken, I. D. Parsons, C. V. Pearce, H. W. James, W. H. Watkins. Barton in connection with the relief clothing depot conducted through the depression years was placed on record at Tuesday night's meeting of the Marton Borough Council. The depot has now been closed down anu the balance of cash in hand, amounting to some £5, paid into the Mayor’s relief fund, from which disbursements are made from time to time. “The work that Mrs Barton and helpers have done is little realised,” said the Mayor (Mr F.
