HEARING OF WO DISPUTES [ Per Press Association. ) WELLINGTON, June 8. No agreement was reached to-day in the New Zealand harbour board workers’ dispute in the Conciliation Council and the hearing continues tomorrow. The main points discussesd related to hours of work. In the carpenters and joiners Dominion dispute the employers offered the conditions of the previous award with wages of 2s 7d an hour for joiners and 2s 8d for carpenters. If this were not accepted the employers were prepared to go to the Court for a settlement. The workers agreed to consider the offer and give a deetsio i to-morrow morning.
