WAIMARINO PLUNKET SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the above society was held at Ohakune on Thursday last, when Mrs. L. E. Jordan presided. The following were also present: Mesdames J. R. Callaghan. R. O. Pearson. G. D. Blacklock, E. Hussey, A. White, J. P. Carver, I. V. Dobbie, J. H. Hardie, H. Larsen, J. E. Rosoman, L. E. Fetzer (secretary), and Mr. L. W. Nation. Formal business and the presentation of the president’s report was followed by the submission of the report of the Raetihi sub-branch. Following is the nurse’s report:— Summery of cases in Raetihi district during the year: New cases 32, visits to homes 275, visits to office (adults) 637, babies 556, other children 126; total 1319. Previous cases still under supervision 105. Election of Officers. —The election of officers and committee for the following year resulted: President, Mrs. Jordan; vice-presidents, Mesdames Callaghan, Hardie and Pearson; sec-retary-treasurer, Mrs. A. Fetzer; as-sistant-secretary, Mrs. Dobbie; committee, Mesdames Moss. Hussey, Blacklock. White, B. Goldfinch. Rossman, Selby, Murdock.
