WESTMINSTER ABBEY
REMOVING DECORATIONS. WORK BEGINS THIS* WEEK. [ British Official Wireless. ] RUGBY, June 5. From an early hour this morning there was a constant stream of visitors to take the last opportunity of seeing Westminster Abbey in its Coronation setting. Up to last night over 200,000 people had visited the Abbey. The work of dismantling the Coronation decorations within the Abbey will begin next week, but it is not expected that it will be reopened until the middle of August- Nearly all of the articles used in the decorative scheme of the Abbey have been sold to collectors, and the chairs on which Peers and distinguished foreign guests sat have been bought by those who occupied them at the Coronation service.
