DR. CHARLES J. ROLLS

AUSTRALIAN APPOINTMENT. SYDNEY, June 5. The appointment is announced of Dr. Charles J. Rolls, of New Zealand, as Dean of the Missionary Training College at Croydon. Up to a few months ago Dr. Rolls had been engaged in medical missionary work in Abyssinia. He left that country following the Italian occupation of the country and returned to New Zealand. General Mola, as unquestionably he was the ablest leader the rebels possessed. General Mola played an even greater part than General Franco in the early stages of the revolt. Two bodies which were found 50 feet from the wreckage of the ’plane in which he crashed, and three which were picked up 80 feet away, have been taken to Burgos for burial.
