The ..political correspondent of the Australian Associated Press underi stands that the Imperial Conference Air Communications Committee hopes to reach an agreement on June 7 in connection with the establishment of trans-Tasman and trans-Pacific Empire air services in readiness to submit it to the heads of the delegations for adoption ,and only a few details remain to be settled, including the management of the trans-Tasman service, also finality regarding Honolulu as a base for the trans-Pacific route. The discussions have been based on the Wellington Conference resolutions. The trans-Tasman and trans-Pacifif shipping is at last making progress, and there is now every hope of a satisfactory agreement before the conclusion of the conference.
