NEXT YEAR’S ENTRIES DUE While interest is being displayed in the Wanganui Jockey Club's winter meeting, breeders and owners should not overlook the fact that nominations for the Wanganui Guineas of 1938 will be due in the near future. These entries of present yearlings are due to close on Friday, June 11, two days after the winter meeting concludes. The event will be run at the spring meeting of the Wanganui Jockey Club, in September, 1938, and consists of a sweepstake of £5 each for starters. with £4OO added, of which the second horse receives £6O, and the third horse £3O.
