Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated May 28:— Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc.); —North Island Down lambs, 28 to 361 b, 7id per Jb; 36 to 421 b, 7d per lb. Best North Island crossbred lambs, 28 to 361 b, 7 3-8 d per lb; 36 to 421 b, 7d per lb. North Island second quality lambs, average, 30 to 311 b, 7d per lb. Best North Island wether sheep, under 481 b, 51d; 48 to 561 b, 4 7-8 d per lb; 56 to 641 b, 4 3-8 d per lb; 61 to 721 b, 4 3-8 d per lb. North Island ewes, under 481 b, 41d; 48 to 561 b, 3 7-8 d per lb; 56 to 641 b, 3 5-8 d per lb; 64 to 721 b, 3id per lb. New Zealand prime ox beef, none offering. Compared with last week's quotations, Down lamb was l-8d per lb higher; crossbred lamb, 28 to 361 b, l-8d per lb higher; 36 to 421 b, id per lb higher; wethers, l-8d per lb higher; ewes, 48 to 561 b, l-8d per lb higher.
