FLYING-BOATS FORCED DOWN
HEAVY WEATHER IN PACIFIC ONE CRAFT REACHES PORT THE OTHER THREE SHELTERING HONGKONG, March 9. The destroyer Duchess is racing to assist four Royal Air Force flyingboats forced down in heavy weather in mid-Pacific. It is believed that they are not in immediate danger. One 'plane has succeeded in returning to Hongkong and the other three are sheltering iu the Great Ladrones Group. Four more destroyers have been ordered to proceed to their assistance, as the weather is rendering anchorage dangerous. BOATS ALL SAFE Received March 10, 10.40 p.m. HONGKONG, March 10. The flying boats arrived safely.
