ARMY INTERESTS FIRST INSTRUCTIONS TO BUSINESS MEN (By Telegr a ph—Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, Dec. 25. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Mail suggests that Herr Hitler and General Goering discussed very important subjects with leading business men from all parts of Germany on December 18 and told them that the army's interests must precede everything else, that Germany must produce essentials, at whatever cost, and must dispense with inessentials, and that Germany was almost in a state of ar. It was made clear that the key to the riddle was Germany’s championship of the Spanish insurgents, thus supporting the belief that there are serious German commitments in Spain. TRIAL SHORTLY
34 GERMANS IN RUSSIA MOSCOW, Dec. 24. It has emerged from an interview between M. Viacheslav Molotov president of the Soviet People's Com missars, and the German Ambassadoi to Moscow, Herr Frederic Schulen burg, that the trial of the 34 Ger mans arrested in Russia will be helc shortly. They are charged with es pionage and_ pro-Fascist activities.
