DUKE OF NORFOLK
ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED LONDON, Nov. 23. Lavinia Strutt, daughter of Lord Belper, is affianced to the Duke of Norfolk, who is England’s premier Duke and is in charge of the Coronation arrangements. The engagement of the Duke of Norfolk, who is “one of the Empire’s most eligible bachelors” and the King’s right-hand man at all State functions, is a descendant in an unbroken fine of Roman Catholics. It is expected that the bride-elect, who is aged 20, will embrace Catholicism before her marriage, which will precede the Coronation.
