YOUNG WOMAN ASSAULTED

A third assault on a young woman in circumstances similar to those reported on the Foxton Line near the city last Thursday night occurred on Saturday night on a road at Fitzherbert. just beyond the city boundary, when a man rode up on a cycle ixehinH £ young woman cyclist, struck ner on the head with a stick, and made off in the darkness. The victim was fortunately not seriously harmed. Miss Storey, the victim of one of the assaults last Thursday, who suffered head injuries, has been discharged from the hospital.
