UNION REQUESTS
ARBITRATION COUR'i JUDGE REMOVAL DESIRED [ Per Association. ] AUCKLAND, Nov. 23. Members of the Auckland Timberworkers’ Union decided to-night to ask the Prime Minister to take steps to remove Mr. Justice Page from his position as Judge of the Arbitration Court. At the close of the meeting Mr. F. Craig, secretary to the union, said that the members of his union strongi ly protested against the inadequacy of the basic wage aud added that there was a widespread desire for a new Judge on the Arbitration Court Bench. A similar resolution was passed about a week ago by the Auckland General Labourers’ Union and the text was forwarded to Mr. Savage.
