NOT A DROP SAVED ESTIMATE OF DAMAGE BRISBANE, Nov. 23. Not a drop of spirit was saved in the destruction of the Millaquin distillery. Half a million proof gallons of rum, 150,000 gallons of white and methylated spirits, and 100,000 gallons of fermenting liquid was consumed. The damage is now estimated at £200,000, but the potential loss of the rum nad it gone into consumption and the duty been charged would have been in excess of £2,000,000.
