OLYMPIC GAMES ATHLETE’S IMPRESSIONS MILITARISTIC ASPECT [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Mr. V. P. Boot, the New Zealand athlete, returned to-day from abroad. After the Olympic Games he spent some time visiting relatives and studying farming in Ireland. He returns much impressed with the organisation of the Olympic Games, but considers that the militaristic aspect of the occasion marred things somewhat. He is returning to Lyttelton. He considers that the Games should be confined to men; Women should have their own Games if they want to take part in sport.
