‘OVALTINE’ JERSEY HERD.
At the Royal Lancashire Show at Blackpool last month the famous ‘Ovaltine’ Jersey herd swept the board by winning the lirst, second and third prizes in all three classes. It was also awarded the championship and the much sought-after Blythwood Bowl. Thus, 11 outstanding awards were secured at. this important show. This striking success is in accordance with the herd’s winning record this season. Already entries from the Ovaltine’ dairy farm in the leading shows have gained no fewer than 116 awards. This brings the total of successes since 1933 up to 413 —a truly remarkable record.
