JUDGE'S RULING

VALIDITY' OF THE WILL

MONTREAL, Nov. 20. At Toronto, Mr Justice Middleton ruled the stork derby clause in the Millar will was valid, but the prize was intended for mothers of legitimate children only. The judgment rules out the claims of relatives that the derby is against public policy or would encourage immorality. Later Mr Justice Middleton will hear evidence in claims being made by the leading mothers and will direct the distribution of the funds.
