T JRM FAVOURITE I BOUT AT NEW YORK • Received Nov. 22, 7.5 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 21. The New York Times’ boxing editor states that Ross is a firm favourite over Izzy Jannazzo, East-Side lightweight, for next Friday's bout, and the odds will probably lengthen considerably in his favour. Jannazzo, however, can stand up to hard punching and has a good long-range boxing style.
