MAGISTRATE RETIRING
MR. HUNT’S SUCCESSOR fPer Press Association! AUCKLAND, Nov. 21. .Mr. F. K. Hunt, who is retiring from the position of Stipendiary Magistrate, and is to be succeeded by Mr. Orr Walker from Timaru, on December 24. has been granted six months’ leave on salary and has been appointed coroner for the Auckland district from December. He will continue to act as a visiting justice to Auckland Prison, and chairman of the management committee of the inebriates’ institutions in the Hauraki Gulf. Mr. Hunt has received a letter ol appreciation of his services from Mr Dallard, of the Justice Department.
