PROTECTION NEEDED
BRITISH ZINC INDUSTRY
LONDON, Nov. 20. Speaking at the annual meeting Ot the Imperial Smelting Corporation, the chairman. Sir Robert Horne, after lamenting that the British zinc industry lacked protection, said that the development of the German industry by subsidies must have important repercussions throughout the world. “It is vital for Britain adequately to protect the industry against foreigners and arrange regulation of Empire imports with the Dominions,” lie said.
