FOXTON LABOUR DAY SPORTS. Entries for the Foxton Labour Day (Saturday, October 26) motor-cycle sports, closed on Saturday last, when some 43 nominations were received for the eight events. All the latest riders will be seen in action, including the Dominion's leading grass track exponents. Foxton has always been the rendezvous for motor-cycling racing, and spectators are always provided with speed and thrills in abundance. Included in the programme is the N.Z. lightweight championship (rolling start), and the Manawatu Middleweight championship. The events are conducted by the Foxton United Sports Association and will be held on the Foxton Racecourse, the first racing commencing at 11 a.m.
