USE BY FLYING-BOATS PROPOSAL ABANDONED Received Oct. 18, 7.40 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 18. In deference to religious sentiment the British and Palestine Governments have abandoned the proposal that the Sea of Galilee should be used by Imperial Airways flying-boats on the Anglo-Australian route. The use of the Dead Sea as an alternative descending place is being considered, but no decision has yet been reached.
